Job Description: Consulting Director
Position Locations: San Francisco, CA
Reports to the Managing Partner
The Consulting Director will be responsible for managing teams of consultants across multiple project engagements and will perform critical design and systems implementation activities in the areas of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. This leader will be responsible for project planning and execution, including team building and critical technical oversight of consultants and application architects. Additionally, the Consultnig Director acts as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) interfacing with the client to ensure overall project/program success.
Description of Duties:
- Business development activities.
- Development of methodology and best practices with respect to Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing to help clients in these areas.
- Management of Lunexa consultants.
- Working extensively with clients to understand their needs and processes, delivering tactical and strategic solutions to add value to their processes through business intelligence.
- Guiding projects through full life-cycle, including performing technical management, guiding clients through the development cycle and overseeing Lunexa's technical project teams.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of comprehensive technical experience in the fields of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing - The right individual for this role will demonstrate a mastery and love of the technology.
- Minimum 5 years project management experience in BI environments; Ability to apply PM methodology to ensure project success.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and supervise multiple projects simultaneously
- Hands-on development experience; interest in working hands-on with the technology in addition to supervising developers
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience leading complex information technology projects.
- Work authorization in the US required

- Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communications skills, strong telephone etiquette, and the ability to deal effectively and professionally with customers, peers, and management
